International folk dance offers an almost inexhaustible wealth of the most varied forms of movement from all over the world. Circle and line dances, figure dances and couple dances invite

us to enjoy an abundance of movement and rhythmic variety, to delve into the traditions of many different regions or simply to enjoy the communal experience of dancing with others. There is enough variety to satisfy everyone’s preferences: from the easiest Israeli dance-alongs to the lively Romanian horas; from Macedonian village dances to the softly swaying Armenian shorors; from the rousing Serbian kolos to the Italian tarantellas. International folk dancing means discovering and experiencing the rich variety of dances from other cultures.
